Babies & Young Children

We welcome families with children of all ages. We have an indoor play area at Haus Sterr and an outdoor play area in the secure garden at the Forsthaus.

In the coffee room at the Forsthaus is a file of recommended, specially tested selection of walks suitable for buggies.

We have the following items available (at no extra charge):

• Wooden cot
• Travel cot

• Bouncing cradle
• Stair gate (to block doorways in the apartment)
• Baby bath
• Potty
• Changing mat
• Child's loo seat
• Step up to loo
• Baby toys, Lego and Duplo, children's DVDs
• Dish and drinking cup
• Avent steriliser (for microwave)
• Baby listening device
• Electrical socket covers
• Plasticized tablecloths
• Nappy sacks for disposable nappies or a bucket with sterilising solution for reusable nappies
• Safety 1st buggy for 6 months to 15kg - also a car seat which can be added to make the buggy suitable for 0-13kg.
• Car seat for older babies and young children
• Our bikes can also be fitted with a child seat or buggy for very young children

In the garden of the Forsthaus, we have a slide, swing and climbing frame and rocker.

We have a small supply of baby toiletries available at cost.

We are happy to shop for baby toiletries, baby foods and nappies for you before your arrival - just send us a list. (There is no charge for this, you just pay the cost of the shopping).
