Border crossing to Czech Republic
  • Cross the border on foot into the Czech Republic to view the Asian markets, remembering that this is NOT typical of the Czech Republic. To see the real Czech Republic, you need to take a bus or train, or drive.
  • Walk through the Bavarian Forest National Park, the oldest National Park in Germany, for about an hour to the old woodcutter's cottage at Schwellhaeusl, now an excellent place to eat at lunchtime.
