Cycling/Mountain Biking

Bikes can be rented from us for €8 per day/€5 per half day (adults) or €5 per day/€3 per half day (children's, baby buggy). Helmets provided. Advance booking is advisable in peak weeks.

Cycling

The Regental Radweg cycle path runs from Bayerisch Eisenstein to Regensburg and up the valley to Zelezna Ruda. There is also a cycle route along the Danube and beside many roads in the local area. There is a huge network of very well signposted and well surfaced cycle routes across the border in the Bohemian Forest.

Mountain Biking

There are a couple of mountain bike rides arranged in the village each week. There is also a book of suggested mountain bike tours at Haus Sterr.

"Some great long, hard climbs followed by steep, rocky, fast downhills and so quiet the chances of meeting anyone are quite slim. It's quite good for a family bike ride too but might be worth taking the ski lift from Spicak to Pancir."
