A self catering apartment may not be an obvious choice for a romantic break or honeymoon but it does offer some very real advantages over a traditional hotel holiday: no remembering to put the do not disturb notice out to stop the daily visit from housekeeping, no getting up and dressed for breakfast by a set time and no set times for other meals – eat what you want when you want to. And for €95 per night high season, €80 per night for the rest of the year for 4 star accommodation, you will have plenty of your budget available for other treats!

In our 2nd floor apartment in Haus Sterr for a minimum of 6 nights, we provide the following for €480* for 2 people (€570* summer/February/Christmas-New Year high season weeks):

  • 4 star apartment with spacious sitting room, bedroom, kitchen/dining room, shower room and private balcony directly overlooking the Bavarian Forest National Park to the left and Arber mountain to the right.
  • Flowers/sparkling wine/chocolates/bowl of seasonal fruit in the apartment
  • 1 free sauna session
  • Trip up the Arber mountain in the Kuschelgondola
  • Voucher towards the cost of a candlelit dinner at Poeschl-Stuben or Eisensteiner Hof

In addition, you can fetch ready made meals/snacks/drinks and ingredients for breakfast at any time of the day or night from our guest ‘shop’

*Our apartment prices include bedlinen and towels, final cleaning, all taxes, breakfast for your first morning supplied in the apartment and use of most facilities (extra charges for personal laundry, additional sauna sessions, rent of mountain bikes, food and drink from our shop)
